OUR SUSTAINABILITY MISSION
We believe sustainability doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing commitment—every thoughtful choice makes a difference. Our handpicked network of vendors is carefully vetted for their eco-conscious practices, ensuring your celebration aligns with your values. Here are a few of the mindful, behind-the-scenes details that can make your event greener:
VENUES – Whether your celebration takes place outdoors, in a purpose-built event space, or at a faraway destination, your venue sets the tone for your guests and influences your entire vendor team. Whenever possible, we recommend Green Seal or LEED-certified buildings, which meet rigorous standards for energy conservation, waste management, pollution prevention, responsible purchasing, and human health. For outdoor settings, we take special care to minimize disruption to fragile ecosystems. Even if your dream location isn’t inherently eco-friendly, we collaborate with the venue to incorporate greener practices—such as replacing single-use dinnerware with non-disposable china or biodegradable alternatives.
CATERERS – We believe food should be both delicious and conscious. That’s why we partner with caterers who prioritize organic, seasonal menus and source from local farms. For vegan or vegetarian couples, we offer plenty of inspired and flavorful options.
FLORISTS & DÉCOR – Floral foam—a compacted microplastic that’s toxic and non-biodegradable—is a firm no in our book. We prefer reusable or rentable vessels and décor over single-use items. Depending on your vision, we source flowers and greenery from local, organic, and sustainable farms, bringing beauty to your event without compromising the planet.
PAPER DETAILS – There are now endless ways to make paper goods more eco-friendly. You can opt for digital invitations, programs, and menus, or choose 100% post-consumer recycled paper. For a creative twist, we love alternatives like seed paper, which guests can plant after your celebration.
ATTIRE – When possible, we recommend custom-made suits and gowns. They typically come from small-scale designers, allowing you to handpick fabrics, styles, and details while avoiding mass production. Many designers now offer “eco-couture” made from organic, responsibly sourced, or recycled materials. Renting, purchasing vintage, or supporting designers who donate to charity are also wonderful ways to make a positive impact.
GIFTS – Favors, wedding party thank-yous, registry items, or charitable donations are all opportunities to give intentionally. We encourage quality, sustainable items over “throwaway” knickknacks that guests may leave behind. We’re always happy to suggest products and causes we personally love and trust.
POST-EVENT – We require all events to compost, recycle, reuse, and donate whenever possible, ensuring the celebration’s positive impact lasts long after the last guest has gone home.

“Belinda is incredible. My husband and I planned an elopement on short notice and she was quick to jump to the challenge. She was so helpful in making sure our vision came to light for the day of our elopement and exceeded anything we imagined. Belinda is super responsive and has a great eye. She truly elevates any idea you might have. On the day of the elopement, she put together the timeline of the day, picked up my flowers and the cake, set up the decor, and was there to help me with anything I needed including placing the veil in my hair. Additionally, we were pleasantly delighted to come back to the home where we got dressed and did our ceremony only to find that Belinda packed up all the decorations, put away the cake, and cleaned up the cake cutting set. It was truly a beautiful day greatly due to Belinda’s planning. I’d recommend her to anyone planning an event. I was so glad I was able to relax and trust her with my big day!”

She's extremely easy to work with, and meetings with her are super fun. Planning the wedding with her never felt like hard work, and she was extremely attentive to the details that we cared about, like honoring our passed loved ones, ensuring that our flowers worked with our attire, and finding THE PERFECT SPOT for our wedding. We live out of state, and finding a location would be super hard for us to do, but our first meeting she was ready! She also recommended our photographer, who we absolutely love, and ensure that we have a clear schedule for the day. She also managed all the setup and teardown herself so that we did not need to worry about any of these details. Also I love her care for sustainability and super happy that our flowers will be enjoyed by others in our community.
