  • Your wedding day should be joyful, not overwhelming. You may not know the cost of a full band or what to look for when choosing the perfect florist—and adding sustainability into the mix can feel like an entirely new layer of complexity. That’s where we come in. We handle the logistics, coordinate every detail, and navigate the decisions—so you can focus on the excitement, savor the creative moments, and be fully present with your guests when it matters most.

  • 1) Budget with Intention – From our very first meeting, we clearly define and break down your budget. It becomes our guiding framework throughout the planning process, ensuring every decision aligns with your priorities.

    2) Listening with Purpose – We view events as our creative medium for telling your love story. Through thoughtful collaboration, we design an experience that reflects the heart and spirit of your relationship.

    3) Planning with Responsibility – We consider the impact of every choice, incorporating conscious and sustainable practices to create celebrations that leave the world better than we found it.

  • We recommend planning your wedding at least 12 months from your date because of the availability of venues, though we have planned weddings within 3 months.

  • We have relationships with venues in Southern California and beyond. We are happy to work with venues we haven’t been at before and this often happens! Once you book us, we schedule a site visit to see the venue and meet your venue manager.

  • Our vendor network has been thoroughly vetted for their professionalism, ability to execute, and eco-practices. Quality control is high on our list. This includes officiants, venues, caterers, bar services, florists, music & entertainment, rentals, production & decor, photographers & cinematographers, beauty services, and waste disposal.

  • We are a full-service wedding planning company with a planning + design + coordination package. We do not offer a coordination-only or partial planning package as we feel it diminishes our ability to go above and beyond for our couples.

  • Along with a designated Client Portal and shared Drive folder, we provide a planning checklist with important deadlines. Before our first meeting, we prepare a personalized budget tailored to your priorities. Then our team works on a timeline for your big day as well as an extensive setup list and layout of your event. And at the end of every planning session, we send a recap that includes your to-dos as well as ours. What can we say - we’re organizational freaks.

  • Our weddings average about $800 - $1600+ per guest, though we have worked with budgets of less and more.

  • We’re based in Los Angeles and have planned weddings all over California.

    All our packages include travel within Southern California. Travel beyond will incur a fee (including out-of-state).

  • All of your planning meetings will be with Opus Events Co owner and lead planner Belinda.
